While certain reports in the media have been suggesting that Vikram is unhappy about the delay in his projects these days, Vikram seems to relax in the glory of having done a performance-oriented role like ‘Kanthaswamy’. “I’ve completed the shoot of the film and yet, I am unable to forget my character, which is one of my best ever,” says the actor who is also working on Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’ now.

In ‘Kanthaswamy’, which is being directed by Susi Ganesan, Vikram has six varied looks, including that of a woman. He is paired with Shriya Saran in this film, which he clarifies does not have any political overtones.

Speaking about how the role fed his quest to be a different actor, Vikram said the movie is thrice of ‘Dhool’ and thrice of ‘Anniyan’, in terms of his performance. Hopefully, the movie will be thrice of these earlier superhits, in box office collections as well.
